2 Days Before Interview (“2dbi”, “we”, “us”) operates 2daysbeforeinterview.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your:

• Name and profile photo (from your Google account)
• Email address
• A unique identifier from Google

We also collect usage data such as questions you view, bookmark, or upvote, and your submitted interview experiences.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account
• To display your public profile and contributions
• To personalise your experience (bookmarks, history)
• To improve the platform
• To send product updates (only if you opt in)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Google OAuth & Scopes

We use Google OAuth solely to authenticate you. We only request your basic profile and email address. We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service. Your Google data is never shared with third parties.

5. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We use cookies to maintain your session. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. Analytics data is anonymised and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics via your browser's Do Not Track setting or Google's opt-out extension.

Advertising: We use Google AdSense to display ads on this site. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other sites on the internet. These cookies allow Google and its partners to show you personalised ads based on your interests.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices. You can also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies by visiting the NAI opt-out page.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Settings page. After deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Security

We store data on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication tokens are stored in secure HTTP-only cookies. We do not store your Google password.

8. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with:

• Google OAuth — authentication
• Supabase — database and auth infrastructure
• Vercel — hosting
• Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymised usage analytics
• Google AdSense — advertising (may place cookies)

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.

9. Children's Privacy

2dbi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
